ClassesFoundation Paper Piecing –
A Seven Hour Class in Two Sessions Instructor: Heidi Hittle Dates: September 10 & September 17, 2011
Time: 9:00am – 12:30pm
Class Fee: $30.00 (Two session class – both are required)
Skill Level: Confident beginner with some quilting experience
Foundation Paper Piecing is simple once you know how. Heidi will lead you in creating a storyboard of “how to’s” as you begin this project. This storyboard will be invaluable when creating future projects.
You Will Learn:
·Basic Foundation Paper Piecing concepts
·How to use the Add-a-Quarter Ruler
·Proper pressing techniques
·The storyboard system
You Choose the Project! You can choose Meandering Stars to create a quilt, or the Mini Stars Table Runner to create a beautiful home décor piece. Both patterns include the foundation paper, complete instructions, and diagrams. Pattern purchase is required.   Supplies: All supplies are available at Fabric Essentials at a discount of 10% off when purchased for use in this class. All supplies should be brought to the first class on September 10th so you are ready to start your project at the start of class.
