In the "good old days", manufacturers created product lines that would last for several years and there were no supply chain issues. Today...well, that is a totally different story. There is a 6-9 month lead time to get most new collections and manufacturers only order enough to fill their initial orders. Then...we have to worry about shipping delays! Rarely will a manufacturer reprint a line because the lead time is simply too long. This means by the time fabric is available and you see something advertised, it could have already sold out.
We try to guess how much fabric or how many kits we need to order, but our crystal ball isn't always correct! The only way we get a sense of how much we need is to put products online and see what the response is. That is how much we will order (sometimes we order a bit more). By Pre-ordering a kit, you won't be disappointed when you hear the fabric line has sold out!
