Seasonal Silhouettes - July Kit - Top Only

Seasonal Silhouettes are laser pre-cut batik fabrics with fusible webbing already applied!
This Fabric Essentials 12-month Block-of-the Month program is designed to provide you with everything you need to create a beautiful batik wall hanging for every month and season!

Project Sizes:
Finished size Applique + Background = 12" x 16"
Finished size with Borders = 18" x 22"

We will select beautiful batiks that complement the applique pieces for each month and season.
You don't have to spend time thinking about anything! Just fuse, sew, and go!

Each month you will receive a Kit for the next month's featured wall hanging.
For example, around the first of June, you will receive the kit for the July wall hanging. This shows what you get with the BOM Club Top + Backing option.

What are the program options?

1) BOM Club Top Only - kit includes:
* Pre-cut, pre-fused applique shapes
* Background batik
* Precut inner and outer border batik strips
* Batik Binding (enough fabric for 2 1/2" binding, although 1 3/4" is recommended)

For those of you who would like to "do your own thing", we offer two other options:

3) BOM Shapes & Background Only - these are the pre-cut fusible pieces and background that will give you a 12" x 16" finished piece as shown below. This is a monthly program.

Author Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts guides you on a journey to fill your home with nature's fresh vibrant hues. Learn her favorite technique - raw-edge applique. Enjoy creating irresistible blocks for each month and season of the year!

Full-color and full-size Placement Diagrams for each of the 12 blocks, along with instructions for making the wall hangings is included. Additional patterns for table runners, bed runners, large wall hangings, and quilt are included.

How easy is this? Here are the simple instructions:
1. Carefully peel paper from shapes
2. Place shapes on background as shown in "Seasonal Silhouettes" book by Laundry Basket Quilts.
3. Fuse in place with dry iron on cotton setting for 3 seconds, do not overpress.
4. Use applique stitch to hold in place.

What Happens After I Sign Up?
We'll call you shortly after you place your reservation and will go over any questions you may have. (You can also use the Notes box when you place your order). At that time we'll discuss the various options in this program. We'll also get your credit card details for auto-billing. What about International Shipping?
We have many customers Internationally and we do our best to package your kits to minimize shipping costs. We'll work with you to group as many kits as possible in flat rate envelopes, and you can skip months between shipments if you wish.
