Designer Spotlight: Laura Nownes
Laura Nownes' passion for making quilts is an extension of her love of sewing. She began as a child with doll clothes and then moved on to making her own garments. After taking her first sampler quilt class in Berkeley, CA in 1979, she knew she had found a lifelong interest.
Laura went on to design many innovative and dimensional quilt patterns and write several books with Diane McCLun such as Q is for Quilt.
