Watercolor artist and fabric designer Arlene Neely designed this cute 36" x 55" holiday wall hanging using almost all of her Here Comes Santa panel. She has featured the largest Santa in the center and added a narrow red border around him. The four medium Santas from the panel have pieced borders. For these you'll cut templates and add 1/4" seam allowances to them. Arlene has provided a full size template for cutting the tree sections and indicated a sewing line for raw-edge applique. Mix and match the greens for the trees, and using the diagram for placement, applique them to the backgrounds. Embellish the trees with beads and trims if you like.

A border of the red stripe separates the three rows of Santa and tree blocks and is also used for the inner border. Choose your four favorite small Santa faces from the panel for the cornerstones of the red outer border and bind with the same red print. To finish, outline stitch the blocks in the ditch, free motion quilt around the Santas and trees, and stitch a row of trees in the borders for a festive finish!
